Why this exists
Most scams don't look like scams anymore.

These are the moments SentryWatch is built for — not because anyone in your family is careless, but because the scams themselves have gotten good at looking legitimate.
SentryWatch watches the network layer, before a scam page finishes loading and before a remote-access tool finishes connecting — the two moments where most of the damage actually happens.
How it works
One small box, wired in once, watching everything after.
SentryWatch installs as an in-line tap between your modem and your router — every device on the network is covered automatically, with nothing to install on phones, laptops, or tablets. A hardware fail-open relay means that if SentryWatch itself ever loses power or crashes, your internet keeps working; you're just briefly unprotected until it recovers, never cut off.
The light tells the truth
One light on the box. It only ever means what it says.
Every unit ships with both a status light and a small onboard display, so no app is required to know your household is protected. Between them, a fixed set of colors covers everything the device might need to tell you — including the colors that mean "something's wrong."

A lot of security products describe themselves in the future tense and let you assume it's the present. Here's where SentryWatch actually stands today.
Tamper-alert delivery is still rolling out
Detection is real and immediate. Where that alert actually gets sent to a caregiver's phone is the part still being finished.
We sign the threat list, not (yet) its publisher
Every update is cryptographically signed on-device so you'd know if it were tampered with in transit. Independently verifying the upstream feed publisher's identity is a step we haven't finished.
Some content-filter categories are further along than others
Categories are added deliberately, with a real list behind each one — not toggled on before the list exists.
This is a wired, in-line device
It installs between your modem and your own router. If you don't have access to that connection — a renter behind a landlord's router, for instance — it isn't the right fit yet.
Anomaly detection is a first pass, not a verdict
It's a statistical baseline built from your own network's recent history, not a trained security model — good at noticing "different," not at knowing "dangerous." That's exactly why it's off by default.
